I'm picking up my copy of Klonoa door to phantomile for the wii tomorrow. It's the ONLY one they got in at our local game store and I'm the one who's getting it wahoo!
The owner of the store, who'm I usually chat with now and then was actually gonna buy it himself, but after talking with him for a bit he let me buy it instead hehe.
So decided to give him a thank you drawing when picking up the game tomorrow along with Pokemon Platinum. C:

Can't say I would have done the same thing, haha. Lovely picture. The crayons (colored pencils?) really bring out that little kid quality. Nice touch. ^^
This is a very nice piece of work that has expressed both your love for classic gaming characters, as well as a style of drawing that seems to grow unexpectedly at a rapid rate. It's nice to see that you one very talented female artist that can now approach just about anything and give it a fresh coat of paint in your own designed style.
What you've done here is Klonoa is simple amazing. Rendering him in your own style is energetic, twisted and highly adorable. It's almost as though you've stripped him of his innocence and beyond the stage of puberty into a full grown cat-bunny thing. What i mean, is that you have kept that loveable charm of the offical design, just spiced him up a bit. Mentioning that, the general design is stronger and you seem to have developed a wonderful knack for the illustration/comic book ways of drawing. There is a definite burst of life in his presence without any feeling stiffness or lack of expression. It's as though you know just what a character needs to get the audiences attention and in this piece here is a definite sign of it happening.
Colour, as always, is done remarkably well and like all your work it seems you have no trouble working either medium to create a design. What you've done through means of pencil is simply fantastic and the gradient of light and dark hues is wonderfully explored. You have a natural talent for colour and can apply so well to your work with little in the mistakes department.
My one small niggle might to have not cut off the edges of ears. While it is not a huge problem, I feel it might have just been nice to present his entirety than lob tiny sections off.
